COVID-19: Ongoing delivery of our conferences and teaching courses
Throughout this pandemic, our College has sought to provide certainty and clarity with regards to our delivery of education activity. Our conferences and teaching courses will continue to remain online for the foreseeable future; procedural courses which cannot be delivered online and are important for progression through training will continue to run in a COVID-secure way.

Royal College honours Social Bite’s Josh Littlejohn and Alice Thompson
Social Bite founders Josh Littlejohn and Alice Thompson will today (4 September 2020) be awarded the 2020 President’s Medal Honorary Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. The College’s President’s Medal is awarded annually to mark outstanding work in the community either locally, nationally or internationally by a Fellow of the College.
Miss Laura Arthur will be awarded the first ever Graham Teasdale Medal today (4 September 2020) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow during the College’s first ever Virtual Diploma Ceremony, an online event held to admit new Fellows and Members to the College.
