Royal College confers three new Honorary Fellowships
Three new Honorary Fellowships were conferred by the College at our second Virtual Diploma Ceremony on 15 April. The prestigious awards were made to senior clinicians from across the world, who have made huge contributions to healthcare.

For many of us working in healthcare in the UK over the past couple of months, it’s sometimes been difficult to see much beyond the end of the day. The sharp increase in the number of hospitalised patients with COVID-19 has been relentless: our health service and teams have been stretched to the limit and at times beyond that.
College President, Professor Jackie Taylor has expressed deep concern for our Fellows and Members in Myanmar and their friends and relatives around the world. We are hopeful for a peaceful settlement and welcome the assurance from the United Nations that it will do all it can to unite the country.
COVID-19: Ongoing delivery of our conferences and teaching courses
Throughout this pandemic, our College has sought to provide certainty and clarity with regards to our delivery of education activity. Our conferences and teaching courses will continue to remain online for the foreseeable future; procedural courses which cannot be delivered online and are important for progression through training will continue to run in a COVID-secure way.
Podiatry student receives the Professor Baird Award as best overall student
