The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow will hold its virtual AGM on Friday 4 December 2020.
During the AGM, College Council elections results will be announced. By voting in these elections, eligible Fellows and Members will be playing a vital part in the governance of the College. This ensures that those with the necessary skills, knowledge, experience and drive receive support to take up these important roles on College Council. Eligible Fellows and Members of the College have until noon on Wednesday 2 December 2020 to vote.
At this year’s AGM a number of important amendments to the Regulations and Byelaws will be proposed. These include changes to the College’s governance structure, a reduction in the number of trustees, and a change to the voting rights of Fellows and Members outside of the UK and Ireland. In addition, the Council election results will be announced for all contested seats. This will include the successful candidate for President Elect, who will take over as College President in December 2021.
