The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) has announced its support for our flagship international triennial conference, Advancing Excellence in Healthcare 2014.
The conference, which takes place in Glasgow ahead of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, incorporates eight symposia running in parallel over two days. A theme of sport and exercise medicine will run through the conference.
Chair of the CGF Medical Commission, Tan Sri Dr M Jegathesan said:
"The Commonwealth Games Federation supports the efforts of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in organising this years’ conference to incorporate the essence of medicine’s contribution to sport , in general and in particular with reference to the upcoming 17th Commonwealth Games."
